Great news!

Washington State placed in 17 positions of the "Hybrids Top 25 for 2014"... Way to go M.I. Chapter Members!

The largest fish from Washington State this year in the M.I. ranking was a beautiful 48" fish out of Lake Mayfield caught by Chapter 57 Member, Pete Bergman... Way to go Pete! 2014 was a great year for Pete as he will also get to represent the NW TIGER PAC with a very nice chapter "Lunker of the Year" trophy for 2014. Pete, also placed several other fish this year in the M.I. "Top 25" along with several other M.I. Chapter Members... Congratulation to you all.

Our fellow member, Matt Pellieter, from New Mexico Chapter 59, placed second this year overall with a 48.5" beauty... New Mexico has some great fish too... The "Top Hybrid" went to Danny Kurttila of Utah! Danny, caught and released, a huge 50" Hybrid in October of 2014...

*BTW: * A "New State Record" here in Washington State was also set in 2014. Mr. Dave Hickman, caught a "Tiger" in Lake Curlew that was just over the 50", the legal-minimum limit here, to set the New-Record. Congratulations Dave! The past Washington State record had remained in tact for several years etc... from when the legal-minimum limit was still set at 36"...

Happy New-Year everyone.... Wishing you all a safe and successful 2015 fishing season...

Congrats to all Especially Pete.....No more goofing off for me...I will just have to get down there in Utah and catch some Tigers....I only fished for Tigers for 15 minutes last year....my daughter wanted to just joy ride in the boat rather than fish, but that was fun too
