Why I Haven't Attended Musky Club Meetings

As many of you know, I'm the musky fishing community's representative on WDFW's Inland Fisheries Policy Advisory Group (IFPAG). Currently, our state has three musky fishing clubs -- one in Federal Way, one in Puyallup, and one in Spokane. Earlier this year, I posted a comment stating that I wanted to visit all three clubs this year, but this is now postponed. For most of this year, I've been functionally blind in one eye, which limits my ability to drive. Fortunately, I've been able to continue attending IFPAG meetings by ride sharing with another IFPAG member, but I haven't been able to attend club meetings because that requires freeway driving, which I don't want to do while my vision is impaired. When I had my first eye surgery in March, I hoped this issue would be resolved by this fall, but I had a relapse and needed a second surgery in August, which has pushed my recovery into next year. If all goes well, I hope to see you all again sometime around March or April. D.W.

I to am sorry to hear about your eye troubles. Hope you recover quickly and without any problems this time.

Ya old salt. We miss you in Federal Way.
Big Meeting coming up this Thursday - Bruce Bolding, Warmwater Manager will be there along with 2 new Biologists; Danny Garrett and Justin Spinelli, who will work in Region 4.
You won't want to miss this one, Don.
So, we will come up north and pick you up and take you to the meeting Thursday.
Course, we will put you on a bus for the ride home - goooo Metro! :-({|=

Just kidding. You have a round trip ticket with a few CH 57 members.
