Upper Skagit

I would like to go fishing at Concrete or Rockport for coho. Are those places god to fish for salmon like coho or chum? I have a while to drive to skagit and I like it a lot but I am not sure that it would be worth to sacrify my day to go there. Any additional suggestion are welcome.

What are your alternatives? Where are you coming from? If you are going north on I-5 I'd fish the Stillaquamish or Snohomish.

Yes, Stilly and Snoho are my alternatives. I am surprise with what you wrote me that it is better to fish them that skagit. I was more lucky on the skagit that Sky. I spent some time fishing on the sky after this seson opener and I did not get even a strike and I fished the skagit ocasionaly, mostly when I traveled with family and I got there coupple nice fish so ,I thought that maybe it would be worth to spent some more time there. Unfotuantally I neglected a little bit the stilly :)
