Olympic Penninsula Vacation Trip Fishing

Post by Daltontribe » Mon Jul 06, 2009 8:14 am

My family and myself will be staying around the Three Rivers resort area for the first half of my vacation, and then Sequim Bay for the second half. I realize that this probably isn't the correct place to ask about the lake or shore fishing on the ocean in the area, but i thought id just make one post. Any advice or fishing spots would be greatly appreciated considering that I'm from Post Falls, Id and don't have a clue about fishing in the area.

You might try giving some of the rivers a shot at some trout. I'm sure the Bogachiel and the other two rivers have trout in them, even though the waters might be really low at this time of the year. When passing by Port Angeles you might want to check out the Lyre River, I've seen some trout in there also. I'm not sure about lakes up around those areas though. If anything try checking out the game farm up there at Seqium too if you can, the kids might like that.
