Northwest Fishing Reports

A friend of mibne had me watch a YouTube video of her and friends fishing the Umpqua for steelies.She alone caught nine.Im not sure what the limit is but I thought she said 3.The rivers are not netted by tribal netters and the runs are huge she said.Watching this video made me sick seeing I fish the Green pretty much.At one point one guy netted 4 fish at the same time.I havent seen that on a river since the 70's.Anyone here fish Oregon rivers for metalheads? Id like to know more about where to go.Hahaha. Watch it Swede.

Good luck with that Cal and Or the worse numbers ever do they have some nice systems yes I fished the H out of all of them my better half Cupcake:colors: lived there 3/4 of her life and truth I broke out daily and fed! LOL

There sportsfishing is so strong not one commercial permit released in the last few years there rivers warm too fast, milfoil and more but there loaded with Bass so Racefish post up all your Productivity SOON!!!:chef:

The Duwammish is a opener Toxic waste waters at best!

PS I have had fun in my drifter on the Umpgua but they were lean on mean in size and weight

T-Bay, Rogue, Elk, Sixes are all good for kingers. I don't care to eat them because of warm water, but lots of biggies.

The Clackamas has good runs and good sized fish:cheers: I got my biggest from it. A lot of accessable water:-"

Have a look at the Santiam river, it's usually good for for a few Summer steelies.

Clackamas is unproductive right now, but reports this weeek of fish moving up the willamette and crossing the falls. That means many fish will be taking that left turn up the Clackamas river.

The Wilson and Trash Rivers in Tillamook are hot.

Santiam good river.

Sandy River is producing right now. Pressure is high.

I definitely want to fish the Umpqua and Rogue Rivers some day.

The Deschutes River is a flyfishing paradise.

The John Day river has good action and there are some large catfish upstream from the mouth.

And, I ended up buying a Washington license this year, not knowing it expires at the end of THIS month. I'll get another. Lots of waters I want to explore up in Washington.

A friend and I camped at Rogue River once, on the way to Reno about six years ago. I saw probably the biggest steelies of my life trying to jump upstream (it was in a no fishing area, pretty far up stream I think).
