what kind of lures do people use for silvers? also I'm not sure what lb line to use?:cheers:

i use pink wiggle warts or blue fox spinners with 8-12lb test

for coho in the rivers i drift fish for them. I will use a blue fox spinner in 2 to 4 blade char,black, blue, firetiger. yarn champange pink and purple or blue yarne and a char red hook. lightest line i would go for coho is 4lbs for light tackle and all the way up to 15 lbs for really snaggy stuff.
If it looks fishy, Then fish it, If it dont look fishy, fish it anyways. <')}}}}><

Twitch pink or chartruese jigs or fling 50/50 Dick Nites as well as some other colors for em.

I spool up with 10 lb test.

Vibrax's, wiggle warts, and eggs have always been my # 1 choice for silvers. Size 3 and 4 on the vibrax, standard size wiggle wart, and a nickle size bait of eggs. The colors vary from river to river. Anyone can e-mail me at Capt.Longrod@yahoo.com and I can tell you what colors will work best for what river.
