Skagit and Sauk Steelhead

Post by AJFishdude » Thu Apr 12, 2018 3:03 pm

Looks like a limited C&R fishery is going to be getting underway for wild steelhead on the Skagit and Sauk. Anyone care to offer some location tips for a bank bound angler on the Sauk? I have fished the Sauk many times, but not in the area that will be open (downstream of the Sauk Prairie Rd. Bridge in Darrington). I have ideas, but would appreciate any tips from people who fished it for steelhead before it closed years ago (not me). PM if you don't want to post on the forum.
