Happiness is an already stocked humpy box
I woke up early this morning to sort out my pink gear. Figuring I'd need to pour, paint, and tie a bunch of jigs for the rivers & beaches. After getting it all rounded up, I was pleasantly surprised that I had everything I needed with more than enough extra to get me thru the season, without having to pour, paint, tie, or buy anything...once again hoarding tackle saves the day
Fishing relaxes me. It's like yoga, except i still get to kill something.

Oh no! What a disaster! How will you deal with the sleepless nights waiting for the fish to come in? Maybe just a few more jigs . . .
Re: Happiness is an already stocked humpy box
Good thing there's always twitching jigs for coho, jigs for summer runs, leader rolls for the river king season... there's always something needing to be prepped til the fish start showing lol

I just hope the forecasts are wrong for pinks and we see stronger runs then they anticipate!!
Re: Happiness is an already stocked humpy box
Even at the numbers predicted, it'll be a stronger run than I used to fish in my youth and I had fun getting a few back then. So I'll still chase'em if it's open. But I wouldn't mind a bigger run lol
