its not a publicly known spot. my friends and i named a hole we like to fish that, because of all the smack talk we do with our humpy egos. its not a large enough area to tell the whole internet. those that know me, know where im talking about, the mention of the hole on my report was for them. i wont divulge that exact spot openly, but your in luck, the spot you stand at is no better than any others on the river. if you see fish rolling and they are biting, thats all you need. work on your technique, present your offering in front of salmon, and they will bite and you will catch fish no matter where you are on the river. i keep this spot secret for the sole purpose of being able to fish away from the crowds, telling its location would be counterintuitive.

My Smacktalk Hole is wherever I'm catching pinks that day! Like jonb stated, look for where the pinks are rolling and practice your technique. I was recently catching a bunch of pinks, but the people on either side of me were catching nothing because they had bad technique.

i 100% agree with what mr. wong just said, and to take it further, i fished smacktalk today, and only caught 6 dark humpies, while mr. wong fished another spot and caught 12, just happened to be the bigger schools happened to run on his side of the river more today, and/or his lure choice may have been better also. location is very close to irrelevant.

I read your posts and here what I learned. 1. You got mad fish skills! 2. You should write a book based on you experience and become a millionaire! I hope someday I have enough time to fish and become part of the legend of smalktalk hole and BHP snagger hole while bonking some fine bucks and hens! Long live the beard!
