I hears that tokul was on fire last weekend and that the skook and cow were good too. My friend guided the cascade and said it was hit and miss but his boat did very well.

Was at Tokul this morning. The run appears to be winding down there. Lots of people, and I only saw one fish landed.

I think it is way early for the Skook still. I haven't seen anything in the escapement reports, and am not planning to hit it until the late part of February.

Go fish the skook man! Youll never know if there is fish until you go. Some helpful advice, there are fish in that river at the end of december. Dont wait for escapement report, Hatchery doesnt start counting until mid feb.

Well since you cant take a boat on Cascade....

Cascade has been dead the past two seasons and now that they arnt taking eggs any longer that is a dead fishery as far as steelhead go. I hear of a guy picking up one every few weeks.

Thanks schu! Great bit of advice. My experience on the Skook is still pretty limited. Looking forward to this year though.

You could take a drift boat down. However not sure if the regs say you can or not or where you would put in. You could take a pontoon down it.

Danny you are quite wrong, but I like that, maybe it will help keep the crowds down!
