Olympic Penninsula Adventures Together

Post by Kricl » Thu Nov 06, 2014 12:32 pm

Nothing ventured nothing gained is one of my many mottos!

New to the Pacific Northwest trout/bass fishing scene but not new to steelhead fishing (with many years of Great Lakes tributaries experience behind me). Here I/we sit in Elma, WA with two 10' Oswego Personal Pontoon boats at our disposal and an F350, 7.3 to haul them around in, assembled.

Really looking for anything helpful - from advice to accompaniment with winter steehealing/searun cutthroat or bass fishing in mind. Not looking for paid services, rather just friendly fisherpeople with good local advice and if possible fellowship with my wife (novice) and I.

Ideally we'd like to connect with another couple who fishes for trout and bass year round in the pacific northwest. Such a couple with fishing as a hobby and full time RV'g as a passion would perhaps be icing on the cake! Traveling with like minded, kindred spirits holds high appeal to us. Safety and security in numbers also hold appeal to us as this world seems to become more and more unpredictable.

I am planning a few days of fishing out on the coastal rivers and could use a shuttle if you want to hook up. I have a boat I will be taking down but other folks with a shuttle rig would make it easier.

Let me know.
