ok guys well the time is near! Im thinkin about goin out opening day for coho on the snohomish, anyone think it will be good? Should i launch at cady or in everett? Im gunna be drift fishin a dick nite and possibly some eggs. Thanks for any info guys! tight lines

I wouldn't start hitting it until September. There might be fish in the system, but the numbers wouldn't be there yet. Stick to the beaches. I live on Whidbey Island and we don't really see a good push of fish until the 3rd week of August.

They start showing up in late august. Not in big numbers. But it's not actually open for retention until September 1st.

what prime time said..... Not open till September 1st, for retention and they wont even be getting good in the salt till last week of August anyways....

I used to get really eager for the opener, ah who am I kidding I still do! But it usually ends in disappointment. As it has been said there will be some fish around, but not many and they seem more interested in jumping than biting. But ill be out there too :scratch:
