Salmon and Steelhead out of the water pictures

Post by Mike Carey » Sat Nov 30, 2013 9:05 pm

We've been getting photos attached to reports that show photos of salmon and steelhead entirely out of the water, and a comment that the fish was released.

Per the new WDFW regs, if your catch a salmon or steelhead and do not keep it, you can not remove it from the water. To save people the negative comments, any reports we receive that are C&R of salmon or steelhead and show fish out of the water will have the photo removed.

Thanks for your understanding. Please forward any comments you may have to WDFW.
