Anyone hit the stilly yet down by marine drive near stanwood? It's been probably two pink runs ago that I fished that and did well. Saw some guys other day fishing and saw a lot of rollers as I crossed the bridge. Thinking about hitting it tomorrow since its pretty close to home. Any info would be great! If not then I guess I'll take my chances [thumbup] Thanks!

It has probably 8-10" of viz. I fished it yesterday and did fairly well fishing cured shrimp under a float. Released probably 20 bucks and kept four nice hens.

Just a reminder to everyone that the river upstream of marine drive is selective gear rules. No bait.

I feel pretty bad.... I always follow the rules. Just my first time fishing the river this year and I should have remembered from years past. Twitching jigs and dick-nites caught fish too. Ill leave the shrimp for the Snohomish.

I made the mistake on the opener to de-barb my hook at first..... Made 2 casts then had an Oh F&%k moment and pulled the pliers out..... We all have those moments of forgetfulness.....

Its retarded for pinks right now. They all seem to get stuck there in low water. The Coho's will be thick by the end of the month.

OK so I may be a little late to the game on the Stilly. Is it still worth fishing right now? If so where is a good spot to go? I normally fish just west of Haller Park off of Dike Rd. Had some really good luck there about 4 years ago. Is that still a viable spot? I am usig pink Buzz Bombs or sometimes I switch to a jig and use the Pink and white Dick Nites. I tried fishing there from 2PM to 5 PM on September 14th with my daughter and got skunked. [crying] Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. Really whatever you can sugest would be great because I still consider myself some what of a Noob when it comes to River fishing.

Thanks
