Today @ The Skagit

Post by DannyLeslie » Mon Jun 25, 2012 2:11 pm

Go there about 6am. This was my third time out this year for sockeye. I had been skunked the first two tries. Well today I finally landed my first buck sockeye! Now I see people say orange is the color.. May very well be but I found something else works to. Take a plain silver dick nite, some pink yarn and a sand shrimp. Toss that baby out let er drift and BANG! Fish on! First cast of the day too. I have photos on my iphone but not sure how to transfer them to here. If I figure it out ill post pics.
Fishing is more than life. It's a passion.

For the two people who were wondering how to get a sand shrimp on a dick nite it's not that hard. Put the hook thru the middle of the shrimp, then the head of the shrimp then the tail.

Btw, this is DannyLeslie. Not sure why I couldent log on my other account.
