while fishing the puke, it says in the regs daily limit 6, 4 adults and up to 2 of those may be chinook, ho ect....
My take on it is you get 4 pinks and two of those can be king, ho, chum.
Ran into a guy today that says you can get 4 pinks AND 2 additional king or ho or chum. which is it? lol

I was asked the same question today I thought and still think ti is 4 but I never looked that far into it... I will have to read or next time I pass a warden I will ask them.. it would make since 6 being 4 of those Pinks and the other 2 coho king or chum... and would make my day also... just means I can still fish when I have my 4 pinks and I am chasing a Silver.

Its four adult fish only. The four fish can includes a max of 2 coho, 2 kings or 2 chums. So that means you can catch 2 coho and 2 pinks. Or 2 coho and 2 kings. The limit of 6 means that you can keep 2 jack (juvenile) coho or kings. Remember that once you have your adult portion (4 adult salmon), you must stop fishing. Release all wild kings as well,

Ok. That is exactly what I thought. So now, how does one tell the difference between adult and juvenile?

jack king is less than 24" and jack coho less than 20" from page 19 in the reg book.

The reg is actually Min. size 12". Daily limit 6. Up to 4 adults may be retained, of which
only 2 may be any combination of CHINOOK, COHO and CHUM.
Release wild adult CHINOOK.
Which if I read it correctly it says you may only keep a combination of two of those fish not 4. example would be 1 coho 1 king and two pinks. It's an additional limit to allow retention of pinks not two more coho chinook or chum.

I thought it was only 2 coho or Kings thank gawd I released the other 2 I had on the line.. I was on fire with Silvers today. kept 2 as allowed but wanted to trade one out as I caught 2 Hatchery Silvers today! and 4 Natives! funny thing I only caught 5 pinks all day catch and released them all day... I should of kept the last 2....
But I want to re-cap as I am more confused now than Before....
total of 6 fish?
4 pinks
2 any other/combo?
as long as 2 of them are Juvis and not adults?

Here we go... these always get more confusing as they go along.....
6 fish total.
The six can be made up of 4 adult pinks and 2 juve King or Coho or 2 adult pinks and any combination of 2 adult King or Coho and 2 Juve King or Coho Or 3 adult pinks and 1 adult King or Coho and 2 Juve, you pick em.
Do we need more choices????
To recap: You may keep no more than 6 fish. Up to 4 of the fish must be adult with no more than 2 being Coho or King. In addition to the 4 adults you may keep 2 juve King or coho or combo. The juve fish must be caught before the Adult limit is caught.
There clear as mud! Gotta love the river regs......
