Northwest Fishing Reports

Hey, I was looking for some help on where to fish on the skokomish for kings. I have never been there before and am really icthing for some serious action. I live in the seattle area can anybody help me out with some good directions.

Mondays And Thursdays they net.
Im out there just about every day.
So you will wanna take the 106 toward the Purdy Cutoff and the Hunter Farms store. You will know its Hunter Farms because you will see alot of cows out in the field. Go into the Hunter Farms Parking lot where all the other cars are. Once you park, you will be able to walk toward a set of gates where other people are walking/driving to. It costs to drive in thru the gates. Its not that long of a walk. After you walk past the gates theres a hole , thats where i get all my fish. You can keep walking for a little ways and go to the Cedar Hole, the next hole down. Or you can go on the Purdy Cutoff and see where all the other cars are parked. And fish above the bridge, you cant fish above the bridge on mondays. Hope this helps.

Check it out via Google Maps, not too hard, if you zoom in on 106 where it crossed the Skok - Hunter Farms is labeled.

Basically either take the ferry to Bremerton or Southworth & follow 3 south to 106, then 106 to Purdey Cutoff road (right before 106 crosses the river).

Or go around - I-5 to Olympia, then 101 north to Purdey Cutoff road. If you miss Purdey Cutoff Road, just take a right onto 106 and follow it until you cross the river.

Follow FB's instructions for Hunter Farms, or park along Purdey Cutoff and follow the masses (Kind of like going to a concert, but not knowing where it is).

There are also places to pull over along 106 at the mouth.
