Are they Catching Steel Head above McNary Dam yet?

I'm here In Cheney Washington and I'd like to know if any one knows yet if they are catching Steel Head above Mc Nary Dam yet, my boat is ready to go. "Or is it still to early" Whens the best time to show up down that way for Steel Head?

my brother went the other day and i caught one steelhead and missed two take downs and saw 7 other steelhead caught. i plan on going this weekend.

The fish are in the system now in catchable numbers. I saw counts from Bonneville that show twice as many fish thus far in the year than there were this time last year and last year was an absolutely absurd steelhead year. I think October is generally the money zone for these big C fish, but they are in there right now.

Watch the dam counts. That will tell you everything! If people are not catching that should tell you to change your presentation and or location!! Pretty simple...
