Many a coho on jig and prawn. Especially when they have seen nothing but eggs all morning. [thumbup]

Just like eggs but if you try a jig and you don't get hit be sure and try a different color. Have to find the color they want that day. I perfer the ones with 2 beads on the jig. Just made 5 of them earlier today.

Your late! Coho is pretty much coming to an end, but some holes and certain fish just wont bite regardless. Ive walked from one hole with rollers all over caught none, walk 100 yards downriver and caught 20, not always about presentation as much as finding the right fish. If u throw eggs, jig and shrimp And hardware and you dont get bit, MOVE

Have you guys ever had the feeling you were being watched on the Cascade? I was up there yesterday right at sunrise, I heard several grunts and had that wierd felling on the trail to the creek and heading down again. Know what I mean? This is the first time this happened.

Btw, no steel for me, boot coho though and one chromer. The boots are hella pissed at a spinners right now. Went to Bellingham after the 'Cade to float jigs for chum, suuuuuper slow.

As long as you don't hear any Banjo - your good :-"
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

gamewardens are watching you there no joke you know that road that goes through the hatchery past the house by the trail, the gamies go up there for some reason, other than that it is probaly just the local bigfoot so no worries.

You are correct that the gw has been there lately. Talk to him twice in the last week or so. I don't think that is what was snorting in the woods but he did come through the woods.

believe it or not I have only seen the wardens on that river once in the last 6 or 7 years of fishing there. Possibly a deer, lots of deer in that area too.

Yeah makes sense about having the gamies hiding in the woods. Or possibly the deer too. Have you guys seen the elk herd on the way to Marblemount? Could be them too.
