Wouldn't you be if you got dragged in then put in a net and had your throat cut?

Is that the 140 hole you're in? Looks like Bremerton on the left.

Yeah the area that has a little rock wall used to be good by PSNS until PSNS didn't want anyone fishing by there too, used to pick up alot of fish in that area.

Scott-

I was thinking of hitting the skok next weekend never been there before though, any info would be appreciated. Gear, color, location, etc. Thanks.

Gentlemen, the Skok is on fire!!!!

Get it while it's good. Fished there yesterday from 4PM - dark and had multiple hook ups (darn barbless hooks) seen quite a few landed, nice bright chrome piggies.

Fished are stacked in the upper holes above the bridge, never seen so many hard fighting, high jumping kings in my life. They are heavily stacked in these upper holes. One guy who lives there, says they've been in for two weeks. So I don't know if this is the main run, but if it isnt and it's this good, can't wait to see the main run of Kings.

Beautiful day yesterday, a lot of people there, so if you don't mind the combat, just get in there and mind your p's and q's and just be cool.

My buddy landed this beautiful 18 pounder, and while the action was hot, some guy went off running with this fish, everyone was quite pissed that this happened, so make sure you keep an eye on your catch.

Make sure your main line is good (I have 40# Power Pro) and at least a 20# leder. I had way too many leders broken off (my knots were good). So be prepared. Have fun and stay safe.

Breaking 20lb leader huh? Geez. Maybe I should go to size 1 hooks instead of Size 2. My buddy and I are heading there Thursday.

Edit: Standard corky and yarn at the Skok or eggs instead?

Bionic, yes standard corky-yarn set up, or just corky. I was using hot pink. But I've seen black and orange used as well.

size 1 or 1/0 hooks imho are the best to use.....sharpen them as well. They are in the lower holes as well right by the farm.

I was down there too yesterday and caught two and lost 7 or so on eggs, don't be afraid to use them.
