white pink salmon

caught some pinks today and when i was cutting up the salmon one had white meat and the rest were pink/red never heard of white meat in pink salmon anyone know of such thing?

More common in Chinook, it has to do with the make up of the diet of the fish, ie shrimp, herring, anchovy, etc.

i caught one out of the stilly today that was like that
if we are good to are lakes and streams they will be good to us

I believe the flesh changes color the longer it is in the river.
