night fishing on puyallup river, legal?

Post by dustpan » Mon Aug 10, 2009 10:17 am

Hi, I'm just curious if its legal to fish at night on the puyallup river. I work swing shift, and it would be really easy for me to go down there when its pitch black out. Thanks for reading this.

I'm guessing you're going there for salmon so I'd say no it's illegal.

I think you might be able to in Nov. Read the regs. as to when the night closer isn't in effect.

He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

I just found my regulation pamphlet. I guess it is pretty clear that there is no night fishing till later on in the year. Thank you for the responses. I love this site.
