Reiter Access on Road side

Post by sfgregorini » Sun Jun 04, 2017 9:38 am

Someone sent me a txt yesterday that he heard the railroad is giving tickets for anyone that parks on the road side of Reiter to anyone that parks and crosses the tracks to go to the water. I told him I thought it was a rumor in an effort to keep people away. Anyone else out there know anything about this or can verify?

There are previous threads on here about this. It seems to have been an issue for a while now.

The railroad is problematic all the sky unfortunately. All the easiest access points involve crossing the tracks.

Indeed, many of my preferred spots on the sky involve crossing tracks. One spot I have given up on since Ive had the "neighbors" tell me its illegal and blah blah... They should start having designated foot traffic crossings for known fishing spots which again I know has been discussed in other forums.
The way I see it is if I'm crossing tracks, I'm taking the risk of a possible ticket, especially if there is any type of notification up.

You'd think they would be forced to provide crossover points. Unfortunately unless wdfw puts pressure on them to do a, that probly won't happen.
