Satsop River Steelhead

Post by scottie211 » Wed Dec 30, 2015 9:07 am

Hey guys, i've never fished the Satsop river before but i plan out going out there for the first time this weekend for steelhead. Could i please get some advice as to locations to bank fish and whether the satsop is more drift fishing or float fishing friendly?

Appreciate it!

Being an OP river you wont get many responses. Bobber and jig. Walk or float the river. Hire a guide. I hear that Danny Stonedahl kid knows his stuff.
Fishing isn't a hobby, It isn't for fun. Fishing is life.

Stopped by Schafer today for the first time. Good looking river! Didn't see anything but this one.
