Back from Alaska

Post by RiverChromeGS » Sat Jul 26, 2014 6:29 pm

Well I hope everyone has had a great summer so far. Just got back a few days ago and finally have some time to stick a few photos up! The Nushagak River is an amazing place, and Guiding for Alaska Kingfishers was an awesome experience. Already looking forward to next summer with them up there. The river had a low return this year of chinook, one of the lower returns in many years, and we still averaged 30 kings per boat a day, what an amazing river! Now I just have to get use to it being dark at night [biggrin] .

I will be on Vancouver Island most of August, then I hope to see some of you guys on the river for fall salmon. I have some dates left in September for Coho before I go back to school if anyone wants to fish :). See you guys out there, and enjoy some photos!

All the guides on the Nush work for lodge camps, and do multiple day trips, including food, stay, float plane trips in and out and everything else. If you ever do decide to go up, book with us at Alaska Kingfishers, offering the highest quality camp, boats and guides! :)
