DISABILITY HOLE IMPROVEMENTS@BLUE CREEK

Post by wdavis10 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 11:33 am

=D> Had a talk w/Delores today concerning the changes @ the dis. ramp at blue creek. Seems they are gonna close the one at the hatchery that we can no longer get to and improve the one at the boat launch area. Yes,there were two at one time but due to funds probs will only be the one. They are considering enlargening this one a bit down river w/concrete if they can get funding and crushed rock if they can't. There will also be a fence improvement and a barrier extension so the sleds can no longer pull in and run over your gear. - This is if they can get the grant and the funding so...We can only hope for this at this time. At present if your standing there and a guy in a chair rolls in you have to give up your slot! This improvement will help the disabled Quite a bit. They are also considering closing the gravel below the boat ramp to sleds - seems some have been a lil disrespectfull of the disabled - go figure.
