Medical Update

Just a short note to save interested parties from having to drive to Medical to check the ice situation. The northern third of the lake is wide open and will be a "go" for March 1st. The remaining two-thirds (launch end) is still socked in with the only open water I can see located immediately off the beach. There is some melting around the edges during the day. However, this strip freezes over again every night, just enough to block progress!
