Went to Lone Lake again on Saturday after dropping my wife off at Langley to shop. Got to the lake about 0900 and fished till noon. As that was all I could afford. LOL. Slight drizzle but not cold temp, but fishing was great. Landed 6  nice 16-17" with about 4 LDR. Caught on black BH WB and white leech patterns. Realized after a couple of fish I was losing them until I found they had straightened out my hook. Strong takes with my new 3 wt on type 3 line. About 5 others fishing, but since I left so early I dont know how they did. By the time I got to Langley and found my wife it was raining cats and dogs. If any of the others read this let me know how you did. I am hoping for another weekend if the weather holds up.

C&L you can fish Lone nearly all year. The real limiting factor in the winter is your tolerance to the rain and cold. The fish are always there.

C&L, Where did you fish on the lake? I am planning to try it out soon and would like a heads up on places to fish around the lake. I also have a small boat if needed but would rather fish from the beach. Either fly fishing or casting with a bobber/fly combo. Thanks, Steve
