Northwest Fishing Reports

I'm looking for a few smaller, productive lakes (maybe up to about 60 acres, not too much bigger than that) within about 30-45 minutes of the Mill Creek/Snohomish area to float tube for bass. Anybody got any suggestions? I have been reading through lakes and reports, but thought this might quicken the pace.

I'm fairly new to the area and an avid float tuber. I live in Snohomish county and have been exploring the smaller lakes in the same area for bass and trout. A few suggestions in the local area to target bass are Silver (south Everett), Martha (Alderwood Manor), Ballinger, Roesiger, Gissberg, Shoecraft, Cassidy, Storm, Panther, & Wagner. No doubt our bass afficianado colleagues here on WL.com can point in the right direction too. As always, check the regs for seasons and slots. Best of luck and let me know if you ever want to hook up for a day of tubing and bass lip rippin'.

Google earth is a pretty good way to find little bodies of water...

H-or-C, depending on traffic 30-45 minutes from Snohomish/Mill Creek can give you quite a range actually. You might give Serene a try. Also if you are running down to Ballinger, just go another 5 miles south and you've got Haller and Bitter..

I live in Lynwood and bass tube all the time. Every lake within 35 miles of Lynnwood has quality largies. I have had the advantage of fishing our small local lakes out my 13 Livingston, so when i approach an area in my tube I already have an idea of how I may nwant to fish it. Also living on Serene for 4 years in the late 80's did'nt hurt. I always have at least 3 rods. Spinner bait or (crankbait), senko(or grub) and fly rod( my favorite largie flies). Right now I'd be hitting any one that's open year round. Hit Silver, Goodwin for getting your line wet. When the trout lakes open it will be kick ass. Nothing is better than time spent on the water. Any day.
