This year we have an awesome schedule of speakers in the warm water fishing side. Speaker's include Marc Marcantonio, Ron Hobbs Jr., Don Hogue ( he's going to the bassmaster classic this Feb), Bob Adkinson, Mark Maderos, and Nick Barr just to name a few. Alot of good topics will be covered by us and hope to see you all out there. You can find the schedule by looking it up on the web.

Well I guess it is time to confess. I was a real dumba$$ and took the kids out of school, took the day off from work and made the drive from Mount Vernon to the sportsman show last friday! DOH! I hear there was a nice antique show going on at the fair grounds on that day.

After 15 minutes sitting in the parking lot 'cooling down' we headed to Auburn Sports & Marine and picked up my oldest son's first baitcaster reel as well as some assorted goodies for me and the little guy. It really didn't help my mood any seeing the signs in the window at Auburn Sports advertising the huge sale that was coming up this weekend.

We then ventured to Three Rivers on on the way back home and got some 4.20 Beavers and couple of the Koppers Live target's. One in perch and the other in bluegill pattern.

I am over my stupidity now, if you can't laugh at yourself - your missing out on some great comedy. Not sure if we can make it back down there this weekend, so I hope all who attend and participate have a great time.

That's ok, I also thought it was last week/weekend. If I'd had the money to go I woulda been there on Thursday and found out the hard way that last weekend was the wrong week/weekend.

Brain "firsty" Calvert ! well the good thing is that atleast the kids understand how important and exciting fishing is when it comes to dealing with dad .. Heck ! one day the boy might be pulling you off work to hit eastern washington for a day on lake , lets just pray that the lake is not frozen over once you guys make it there .. haha We all do crazy things at times and thats why laughter is an important factor in life !

Buddy, don't feel so bad I did the exact same thing. However, we live in Federal Way so it wasn't that bad. Took the kids to Dairy Queen in Fife and checked out sportco. We hope to go Friday afternoon.

Whew! at least I was not the only one - It marked the end of two long weeks of continuous personal disappointments. But things are looking up. Only four more weeks of :bball: coaching then it is time to fish like a madman!

Thanks to all that came out to see our seminars. We had some great crowds show up to listen and participate. The OT trade show people were very impressed with the numbers that were coming and see the seminars. Hopefully we were able to give out some good info and help all that attended become better anglers.
