Northwest Fishing Reports

Just poppin in to give a shout out to my WL family. Just got back from a week long trip to Lake Topaz (1/2 hour S.E. of Tahoe). Great trout fishing. Caught a few 12"ers in the lake and one grom brownie in the Walker river that feed Topaz. If I woulda had my fly gear with me we would've killed it, I was litterally bouncing spoons, spinners and eggs off their BLEEPING heads, just feet from me...they were hitting topwater caddis or something. Damn trout...I almost clubbed the little bastards I was so frustrated...don't worry all you fly guys...I would've clubbed and released It confirmed why I'm a bass guy.

Fishings fishing though and it was a good hunt nonetheless. Hope all is well with you guys. Mike...the site looks great.
