If your talking about Newman Lake in Spokane ? I fish Newman every week, its good fishing yes, but I wouldn't think of it as a destination. If i had a week to fish I would hit Twin Lakes , Pot Holes or Banks .

Newman is a great lk for fishing and campng. One of my favs! Campground is ok, nice big dock. A few muskies have been caught from that dock, pics are on the wall outside the office. If you want some company on the water, me and my buddy should be out there at some point durring your stay. Meeting new fisher peoples is alway a +. Good luck and enjoy the WEST SIDE  , tight lines!

do you have a boat? if so hit the pads. we get right in them a few feet and flip senkos into pockets. i got a 4 pounder like that a couple of weeks ago. it was amazing because i saw the whole thing go down. there arent too many lay downs which kinda sucks but the deeper docks seem to be good this time of the year.

around the pads to the left of the boat launch there is a large grass flat that extends out a good ways. if you get out there early enough try hitting that with top water. i usually dont get out there early enough but i have heard good thing.
