Cranking, forgging, swimbait, drop shot, etc...all with like 5+ different actions. It's ridiculous!

2K, I might tease you a bit...but I do pay attention to the deals you find. Two of the casting reels I bought in the last year came from your postings.
When I was a kid we had ONE ROD that functioned for all styles of fishing. I almost miss the simplicity of those days....almost.

Shoot the simplicity of those days still exist! I have yet not been able to catch the species I've targeted on my one ron/reel...I got my spinner for my lake fishing, I got my fly rob for my fly-fishing only lakes and rivers, And a newly obtained four piece rod that is antique, and older the me for sure (can't remember the brand name off the top of my head for some reason) that I am refurbishing and that will be a nice addition, but not limited too...
