As far as lakes in Renton, Checkout Shadow, Shady, Desire...Lake Youngs, Pipe Lake (hooks up with Lecerne)...There are a TON of lakes around that area...All with Bass and trout especially. If you wanted to hit up Maple Valley, Lake Wilderness, more South to Black Diamond you'll find Lake Twelve, Bass Lake...TOO MANY LAKES...If you don't like what you find int he reports, get on google maps, search for the area you want to fish, and you can pin point locations of Lakes, their names, and how to get there to give them a shot. I think i've fished A LOT of lakes throughout King County, looking to find new ones all the time...very easy to find, and most are public lakes...
Keep'em Tight!

You can't fish Lake Youngs... Shady, Desire, Spring are all nice and close together. Lake Sayer is a little further but large and allows gas motors. Shadow lake is nice but the launce is disgusting so I avoid it!
Read the reports =]

I lived just east of Renton for 35 years and spent a lot of time bass fishing. I have an article on page 5 of Tackle Box Tales that gives you a run down on 18 King County bass lakes. Fish em all. BJ
