A Washington Sate Fishing Guide I have says it's supposed to be great for bass. Anybody familiar with this place in Fall City? Access tips?
Wasn't there some pretty heavy flooding out there last year or the year before? If this slough is right next to the river, would the fish be "washed away?"
Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

If this is the place I'm thinking of, it's got good fishing but it's a massive pain to get to the water. Knee-deep marsh you have to slog through just to get to the water. I could be wrong about the place but that's what I'd heard from a couple of people before.

How far's the slog? Have float tube back pack straps, will travel
If the fishing's good it'll be worth it.

Can I get a 10' jon boat back there?

Last I was there, I would say no to the jon boat. Too long of a march through swampy land with the only access being directly off of the highway.

Maybe, but you'll never get it out again hehe...
Float tubes are about the only viable way of fishing that slough. I was out there once 2 years ago, should go back sometime soon. Now that the rains have stopped it'll be a little easier to get to the water but not by much.

Well, I went to check it out after fishing Sammamish today. It looks good. There's a deeper part in the back of the slough that looks really good. But you have to drive down the private road, get out of the car and stand on the side of the road next to the "No Trespassing" signs to see it
There is really no shoulder for parking on the highway. I don't see how it can be accessed unless parking wayyy down the road and walking. So I wonder if this place can be fished by the public or what? Maybe if we were 16 and our moms could drop us off
