Spokane house is open year-round. DNR is arbitrarily open during the warmer months. It was used for last weekend's tournament, so I would venture that it is probably open.

Nine Mile Resort will be opening Memorial day weekend, and in operation until the first week of Sept.

The DNR launch Gisteppo was referring to being open last Saturday was a one day exception and is now closed until Memorial Day weekend when the rest open. The good news is Memorial day is early this year. The Spokane House launch he mentioned, I call Wild Waters, is open and ready to put a scratch in your nice boat. The idiot who put that dock on the down stream side of the pad should have to buff out all boats that are damaged due to the shear retardedness of that launch. Good luck

DC, ask Beerbohm what happens when you are tied to the dock and the flashboards break off the top of the dam and add about 300% to the flow of the river.

I can only imagine. I just don't understand the thinking behind that dock location. If it was installed above the launch pad then you wouldn't plow into it during high water and it might even sreve as a current break. The way it is now it is a hazard. A small boat could potentially be swamped by it.

The concept behind it is a boat that either has a rope failure or otherwise becomes detached from the trailer, etc will get held in place.

Pretty common practice where Im from in Oregon on all the rivers. Docks are mainly downstream of the launch.

I never thought of losing my boat all together. I am more concerned about all that sparkley paint. Sometimes I wonder if I got into this because I like to fish or because I just love the way bass boats look.
