I wonder if anybody else out there does what I do with the grocery store and bait??
When I go bottom fishing in the salt I will go to a good grocery store and pick out various things that you would serve for dinner,, but for bait. (squid, quality shrim, octopus etc.):chef:
So the other night I am cruising through what used to be the Larry's Market on Aurora Ave, N. Seattle. It is now a huge asian grocery store that has some REALLY trippy seafood items. I found these little fish called "Butter Fish" they were about 4-5" long and 2" belly to dorsal fin. Of course they are not live,, so they would be legal for bait. I took one look at them and said, that I've got to try these for bassin'. (drop shotting maybe) There is alot of interesting bait size things that much of it looks like it would be fun to try.
Wondering if anybody else out there bait shops at the seafood deli? (these things were only like $2.50 for like 4 or 5 fish.
