i might have to attend and fish this! Might as well break in my 1st bass boat...

Three Fish limit??? Is that to reduce mortality Brian, or whats the figuring behind that? Either way, I'll be there to defend my second place crown....

I was thinking the same thing for me Pinoy,..that is if I can find a Bass-Boat that I like by Feb,..we'll see!

The fish mortality was not a big issue at the events, because of the free fizzing needles and laminated instruction cards that were passed out to each boat. But, it does a few things, which makes a potentially tough tournament (bluebird sky day) a bit more forgiving, and also keeps the potential of fish mortality down if the fishing is really good, as it has been great in previous February if there is not the high pressure which we have experienced the last 2 years. We had some discussions on the subject both for and against the 3 fish limit, as you could imagine. But, all in all the tournament has a great payout, good food, and a good raffle! Of course, it has to be the only tournament with the "Buckets of Love"!

Looks like this is going to be my first tourney event in 2009 .... cant wait !!!

I will say it for him. JD will be VERY tough to beat!

Yes, but someone is going to catch the big fish and get 1000 dollars. Last year the winner of the tournament did not get the big fish, so there were 2 very happy teams there. If you are not planning to fish at all (I recommend that you do) then it is well worth showing up for the raffle and food......

Yes, a guaranteed $1,000 for big fish is an awesome prize, and anyone can catch the big fish!

Anyone out there plan on prefishing this weekend? It should be pretty good with the water starting to clear up. We will be out there one day this weekend, and should be getting some decent bites......See ya on the water!

All the pictures and standings for the tournament are posted. It was an excellent event, great raffle prizes, good food, and very good fishing. Thanks to all those who participated!
