Really have no favorite,i just change it up if im not getting hit, keep my box stocked and thats all,if the smallies are there they will hit pretty much about anything the only issue i had once this year was i did not have 6lb floro as my leader and it made the difference in my buddy putting a hurting on me.

I have some sweet Blue Pearl Goby's that I'm pretty sure are WCCT. Look just like the tiny bait fish in the local lake when the sun is shining. I also have some nice Panic Minnows. I'd eat the Panic Minnows...they look real!

To my knowledge, the bait is no longer made. I found a bag here two days ago and felt real lucky.

Just a quick thank you for you guys sharing your tips & tricks for drop-shotting. I tried it for the first time today and caught a really nice bass within the first 30 minutes of trying to get the hang of it. I need to work on setting the plastic up better to be weedless, but I was able to toss fairly snag-free near a dock wrapped in pads and catch this fella (see picture).
So... for what this shor-timer's opinion is worth, my favorite is a deep purple crawdad w/green claws. Now that I think I know what I'm doing I'll expand my horizons with some other plastics.

Sparky, how long leader you use? 6lb flourocarbon? Does it have more to do with action of bait or visibility?

All of
WCCT drop shop series is money on the water .. I cant bring myself to mention my # 1 bait for fear i might never find it on the shelf again , it's made by Gary Yam . and alot anglers dont ever consider it for drop shoting (bacon)..

I just made a change to 10lb spiderwire 2lb dia. with at least a 6' leader for break off and retie situations.6lb seems to give you a better edge on the fish probably because of the no visibilty underwater.
