Chelan county Bass, Roses lake?

Hey guys, Long time lurker, first time posting.
On Wednesday I'll Be Headed over to stay at lake chelan for a few days. Ive been vacationing there for as long as i can remember, but have only fished for kokes in Lake Chelan. This year id like to get into to some bass on that side of the mountains. Ive heard from a few to head up the hill to Roses lake, which appears to be a little more pontoon boat friendly the one time i drove up to check it out. The wind is always an issue over there since ill be fishing out of my pontoon boat.
Do any of you have an expirience on roses, or chelan for that matter. Ive never tried for smallies on chelan but i know i can find them quick (will be stayin at Wapato Point resort) which in the past has been a hot spot for smallie fishing. Maybe theres a smaller more productive bass lake in the area. Any thoughts and advice would be great.
Thanks, Ian
