Smack-down @ Cassidy

Post by HillbillyGeek » Sat Jul 05, 2008 9:53 pm

I hit Lake Cassidy for a couple of hours today and the bass were definitely active. Caught at least 8, maybe ten (lost count). One of them was very decent-sized for Cassidy -- which is known for having a shload of dink bass & crappie. I'm thinking it weighed close to 3 lbs. Here's a pic:

This was one of those days where the super grub outperformed the senko, hands-down. I was using my new super-secret semi-homemade scent again, and so far I've had 2 back-to-back killer bass catchin days with it.

Hmm... the new scent needs a name.

"Essence of Hillbilly"?

"Kick-butt bass stank"?

"Gee your bass smells terrific"?

I vote for "Gee your bass smells terrific"?
Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
