Anyone using them?
I had a little luck with one on a Gamakatsu hook a couple days ago. Gonna go do some weed surveys today and might go plunk a line or two and see if the luck sticks.
Am I the only one using them?

I use them in about 5" length when I fish Banks for smallies. I hook them up to a jig head hook. I just cast against those massive rock walls, let it drop a ways (depending on how deep the rock wall goes down) and then slowly reel in.

I'm not typically allowed on this side of the site, but I saw this post and couldn't pass it up (thought I was the only one to pick them up). Just picked a bag up this week and plan to try 'em tommorrow on American. I'll let you know how I do.

Well first try was unsuccessfull. Not sure on the best way to use them. Swimsenkos don't fish well weightless, they spin. On a lead head I received no action, but that could of been my lack of knowledge of American. I wouldn't think you'd dropshot with them as they are oversized for finesse fishing. I'll try again on Tapps.

I tried them as a trailer on a chatterbait but didn't catch anything. I got the idea from Brett Hite who won a couple of FLW events with this combo. He used a green pumpkin chatterbait with a green pumpkin swimsenko as the trailer. Looks nice in the water.

We use the 5" single tail grub on banks, and fish them the same way...but swim senkos would also work great there.

In my opinion with the few times iv have used this bait what iv come to determin is that it one of those "time and place baits" Yes it works and can offer some good bites but iv only found success with them when bass are in th grass on shallow flats and your wanting something to run across the top of grass to get a reaction bite . Other than that fishing for largemouth bass only around docks and cover this can be a L.M. killer bait .. I would say keep tossing it and experiment with different depts of water .. it's a great wake bait for that first thing in the morning bite and offers enough size for to attract a bigger fish .. Thats about all i can offer for now but i Keep it in my Tourney bag so yess it catchs fish ...

Ill have to say this is probably my favorite plastic.....
This thing was picking up smallies left and right the past few days. Under docks, in shallows, over rocks, 15 feet of water, it was doing really well. The Thumb and I went out for a morning session sunday, he fished a drop shot rig with senkos and with some crazy ass lookin thing, and picked up one good fish. On a weighted gamakatsu and a green swimtail I picked up 4 smallies from 10" to 15" at all different depths and structures. Im pretty sold on it.
Im thinking its all about presentation. I seem to get the most hits when it is dropping, or when I let it sit for a bit while Im rowing the boat or doing some small task for a second. Gonna get back out this week and see if it was a fluke, but im pretty convinced.
