Senkos a variety of colors and sizes. Also some curly tailed hula grubs and some brass and glass(don't forget the crawdaddy scent with these):-$ Black power worms are great also.
Think of what you are looking to represent and find a plastic to fit your style:cheers:

I fish these a little deeper so I usually get the fish on the fall other than that I try to think about a crawdad.(shake it the brass and the glass click it drives them nuts)

Go to the clearance bin at Sports Authority (or any of the other bigger department stores like Fred Meyer), and buy whatever cheapo brand of 3-inch curl tail grubs they have. So long as its in brown or copper color. Even the clear ones are okay--just color them up with a brown sharpie pen--actually, you can get some pretty cool color effects when different colors start to bleed in and through the clear plastic. My number 1 smallie lure, Texas rigged, is any of these cheapo 3-inch grubs in the brown/copper (crawdad color).

I'm ADD as can heck when it comes to fishing plastics for bass, sometimes just cannot do it and have to throw cranks and spinnerbaits all day to keep moving at a fast pace...Weird, cause I watch my rod on a downrigger for hours out in the saltwater waiting for a salmon to bite....I
BUT when I do throw plastics, I enjoy throwing a Zoom Lizard, watermelon/black flake. FM: I love these out at Beaver....
Senko is starting to grow on me, and I still cannot catch fish on grubs...!!! Been liking those brush hawgs too....

I have had all types of plastics and the one that gets the big ones are not 4in or 7.5s you will catch lots of fish on them but if you want bigger fish use bigger baits. I cast a lot more but I am grtting 6+ fish. As some of the guys know I'm a HAWG HUNTER I'm going for the state record bass every time I hit the water. The only lure I have in my box thats 3in is a craw fish every thing else is 7.5 to 12in Even a SMB will eat these baits the smallest fish caught on a 12in worm was 1.5 the largest 12.6 Larger than that have broken my line. This year in Long lk in kitsap my buddy asked me I want a big one so I gave him a 12in black culprit he cast for over an hour befor he landed his largest LMB he had ever caught 9.25 and now every time we go out he is tossing a 12in worm it seams to have made him think bigger is better. Out at Island lk in silverdale I was fishing a 12in black and brown and caught 4 fish that went 4.5 to 7.3 in 3 hrs the stringer weight was 26.3 lbs of fish. So I can say go big for a pig.
And for all the fisherman out there who don't know, just keep your 4in sinko you will catch fish with them I have but you will never git one over 10 she will swim right on by. Colors black, junebug, grape, greenpumpkin.
