There is a lake by lake samamish. The lake is called phantom. Iv only fished it once, last summer, and it was about 90 degreese so VERY hot. We didnt catch anything but we saw a dozen or so bass crusin the shallows. They wre all huge Id say between 3-5 lbs, so I guess not huge but nice size. Yhere is a public dock but is not too great. We went in August and the lillys were pretty thick but now would probally be fine. A carry in boat would be ideal. I have directions if you want them

exit 5 on 405 take a right onto sunset and follow sunset until you pass king and bunnys tv (on the left cant miss it) take a left at the gas station. boren will be about 2-3 miles on the left. the north and south end of the lake are shallow. about 2-10 feet. the west and east side both have a pretty steep slopping hill, down to about 25 feet deep. thers a creek coming in on the north side and one going out on the south side. most of my fish come off of the pads. trout get fished out pretty quick here but not many people fish for bass here at all.
