Beaver Lake (Issaquah) Bass question

Post by Toad37 » Fri May 02, 2008 1:49 pm

Hi,

I was wondering if any could share some tips on fishing Beaver Lake for Bass. I used to fish for bass when I was a kid with a Hula Popper. But now-a-days it looks like plastic worms and lizards are used rigged Texas and Carolina style? I just starting to learn about this and may go out tonight and try it for the first time. Also, can I use my trout pole with 4wt line or should I get a dedicated Bass Rod/Reel? Thanks for any advice.

After reading through a lot of the old forums, I have answered my own questions.

Just got back from the store, bought a bass set-up and some tackle. I'll post about how it goes. May try Beaver or Pine (If the crowds aren't too bad) tomorrow.
