I have been doing some research and this is some thing that I have found,
It is wrote that the simple fact that spring has come (longer days) starts bass feeding preparing them selves for the spawn no matter the temperature. The thing that does seem to be affected by colder temperature is the distance a fish will come after a bait. I have found that in this time of the year the bass are less finicky of their choice of food. This is because the active bait fish are harder for the bass to catch because of the growth over the winter. This leaves the bass to be more opportunistic.
