Satellite Overlay and Google Earth

Post by tbrinks » Wed Jul 18, 2018 7:36 am

I'm sure most of you use Google Earth to find spots and I definitely do, but I have been doing it with my Lowrance units as well. The Navionics Platinum card has sat overlay and you can view the image as well as contours at the same time.

I have found out that adjusting the transparency makes things really pop out. This is an example of a spot I found with a long tapering point coming out. Really more like a submerged island.
