Lake Washington this Saturday

Post by kzoo » Thu Feb 14, 2008 4:44 am

While the rest of the bass heads are at Sammamish this Saturday, I've got room for one at Washington. This will be my first time out this year for bass and the weather is suppose to be decent, PM if you're interested.

You will probably have the lake to yourself. I wonder how many anglers will be at the Freeze your BASS off? The uncommonly dry weather should have them out in droves. I'll be with the family on the water if I have my way Saturday. Good luck with the bite.

i have to admit the nice weather lately has drawn me outside of my cave to check out my local lakes, still pretty cold but the trout are starting to activate there matabolisms but other than that everything is still in hybernation, at least at lacamas lake.

I bet a lot of people will be out on Washington Saturday for all species of fish. The tourney will probably only draw 20-25 boats.

Nope not fishing anything on Sammamish this year. Three Big tournaments in a month and half. Pre fished to death. And I dont even like the lake in the first place. Ill stay on Washington.

Ryan Sunday is looking even better than Saturday if you got the time you should head out. I may be on the lake both days so we can meet up

....I wonder what silver will be like after 5 days of semi warm weather???

I will probably be on Washington. Driving the boat and fishing after some maint work. You won't have WA to yourself, no way in hell.

Word is that Cutthroat fishing has picked up on Washington...might have to see if that's the case come Monday. Sammamish is supposedly putting out some nice cutts, but I haven't been out that way.

I picked up my boat from the repair shop and made a run out to Lake WA. I was only there for an hour and a half max. I surprisingly  caught a 2.0 SM in about 48 ft of water on a drop shotted nose hooked tube. The bite was not soft, and when I set the hook and felt some give I yelled to my GF I got one !! haha. Love those rare winter fish for me. 43.5 degree water. BTW the fish did not need any Fiz work, and it swam back down fast :) First fish on the new Megastrike scent.
Saw Daniels Champ from a distance, hope to see your report.

always great to hear from the pro's on here....lol. Glad to hear that isn't a secret spot, the 5 boats constantly pounding it during a tournament might have given that away.
