Bass in Alpine Lakes?

Post by 360fisherman » Wed Jun 15, 2016 10:17 pm

I have been looking to do a hike to a lake where I could float around and do some bass'n. But whenever I go to look on the WDFW website in the alpine lake section all it shows is the trout lakes. Do bass typically not live in lakes up in the mountains because of weather, stocking, food, etc?
I would really love to hear some suggestions for lakes that have some bass if anyone knows of any.

Too cold, not enough oxygen, not enough food.
