Borderline Bassin' Contenders is hosting its Lake Samish Open team tournament May 21, 2016.
WHERE: Lake Samish boat launch.
WHEN: May 21, 2016. Drivers meeting 6 a.m. Weigh-in 3 p.m. Please arrive by 5:30 a.m. to register.
COST: $60 per team for members. $90 per team for non-members. Cash only. No checks.
RULES: Five-fish limit, .25-pound dead fish penalty. Off-limits start the Monday before the event.

Payouts?

Good question. Payout is 80% to top three teams. Of the payout money, 45% goes to 1st, 35% to second and 20% to 3rd. Big fish is built into the entry fee ($10 per team). So 20 teams = $200 big fish.

Sounds awesome, are there ever open seats for non-members?

Swayner23, thanks for asking. It's difficult to arrange seats for non-members. I'd recommend coming to club meetings and meeting members to try and find a partner. Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month. We post the location on the website on the "Membership" page. All of our tournaments are opens this year, so if you find a boater, you can show up to any tournament.

This website is a good place to try and connect with a boater. You can also use the Northwest Bass Anglers Facebook page to try and find someone.
